Rebecca Bartlett has been a fan of the Olympics since her childhood and the GIS and Digital Resources Librarian at Carleton University since November 2012. Following numerous questions from students about various online mapping websites and a lack of resources comparing the options, she and her colleague Joël took on the task of making their own comparison. The only official Olympic sport she currently participates in is curling, where she is renowned for weak sweeping and falling out of the hacks.
