Daniel Rueck

Daniel Rueck is Faculty Lecturer at in the Dept. of History and Classical Studies at McGill University. He recently held an FQRSC postdoc at the Robarts Centre for Canadian Studies at York University (Toronto). Rueck’s research concerns the environmental and legal history of Indigenous lands in North America, the history of land surveying and cartography, and Canadian settler colonialism in global context. His forthcoming book concerns the history of land tenure and Canadian colonialism in the Mohawk community of Kahnawake.
